CleanSlate at Royal Botanical Gard

CleanSlate UV Partners with Royal Botanical Gardens To Enable a Safe Exhibition Experience

At CleanSlate UV, our mission is to ensure that no one gets sick from the germs on mobile devices. As attractions in Ontario welcome back guests, keeping people safe is a top priority.

That’s why we’re proud to announce a donation of five units to help the Royal Botanical Gardens meet their safety goals. These will augment sanitization protocols and create a hygienic exhibition experience for their staff and visitors.

The donation is earmarked for ‘Seeing the Invisible’, an expansive exhibition of contemporary artworks created with augmented reality (AR) technology, that started on September 23rd at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON.

All shared iPads at the exhibition will be sanitized by CleanSlate UV’s hospital-grade device sanitizer — a chemical-free solution that has been independently validated and proven to inactivate up to 99.9998% of dangerous superbugs in a simple 20-second UV-C cycle.

CleanSlate UV can also be found at Toronto Pearson Airport, Toronto Union Station, and a number of leading hospitals and corporate offices in Canada and the U.S.

Seeing the Invisible features works by world-renowned contemporary artists such as Ai Weiwei, Refik Anadol, El Anatsui, Isaac Julien CBE, Mohammed Kazem, and more. Visitors will engage in AR experiences created by these artists via an app designed for the exhibition, downloadable to smartphones and tablets.

“The Royal Botanical Gardens is a world-class institution and we are excited to support its initiative to promote safe reopening of public spaces in Ontario,” said Taylor Mann, CEO and Co-Founder of CleanSlate UV. “As a Toronto-based company ourselves, we wish to play our role in ensuring a comfortable and incident-free event experience for all.”
