Humans can’t use our hands and feet to perform various tasks like monkeys, so we have to use our hands for everything.
This means our hands are one of the first points of contact for germs. Most people practice good hand hygiene during specific activities like using the bathroom, during and after meal prep, etc. However it is imperative that people wash their hands throughout the day no matter where they are or what they are doing.
